Out of Hours Service
Between 18:30 and 08:00 Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.
NHS 111 is free to call from landlines and mobiles, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can also visit 111.nhs.uk
The service is available for people who aren’t sure if they need to go to A&E, can’t see their GP or generally need reassurance and advice.
Your call to NHS 111 will be handled by team of fully trained advisers and experienced nurses and doctors who will assess your condition and direct you to the local service that can help you best, when you need it.
For life-threatening emergencies you should call 999.
when to dial 999, for example you have:
- Chest pain
- Collapse
- Severe breathing difficulty
- Serious Injury
- In the event of a death
